We love creating portraits within a stunning blue mountains landscape setting, alternatively specialising in styling and working with colour in the creation of studio portraits to create timeless memories.

About Me

I’m an optimist.
A lover of all things vintage.
Someone who values quality over quantity in everything I do.

Yes, l eat too much chocolate.
I love to dance.
I dream of distant lands, filled with both foreign and familiar faces.

But above all else — I love taking photos.

I always wanted to be an artist. In high school, I discovered my love for art and design… and then photography found me. The first time I used an SLR camera, I was completely hooked.

I live on a ridge in the beautiful Blue Mountains, where every day I’m surrounded by light filtering through the trees, wild weather rolling in from the west, and sunsets that feel like paintings. I share this space with my husband, two incredible young men (who have grown up faster than I can believe), and a very old beautiful dog named Kelly. My eldest recently brought home a young Kelpie pup, who he has named Sooti and she has brought a whole new kind of energy and love into our home.

Motherhood, especially to boys, has shaped me deeply — it’s taught me to observe, to laugh, to listen, and to hold space for all the moments in between.

When I’m not behind the camera, I spend time on local bush walks, weight training, and grounding myself through yoga and daily meditation.

My photography work keeps me busy — especially proposals, which have become a bit of an addiction! There’s something so special about being involved in the planning of such a big moment. I still photograph the occasional wedding too; I love being surrounded by people who are high on happiness, then documenting their day and presenting it in storybook form.

I also specialise in maternity and newborn photography — capturing the quiet beauty of life as it begins. Family portraiture is another passion, and I take pride in helping to tell your family story through beautiful, timeless images.

Being a photographer is about witnessing the now — and creating something that will live beyond us.

That’s why I do what I do:
To create family history.
To craft heirlooms that will be passed down through generations.

In 2003–2004, I studied photography at Sydney Institute of Technology in Ultimo. Later, I completed a Diploma of Photo Imaging at Nepean Arts & Design Centre, graduating with Distinction for my portfolio in 2014.

I’m always learning, always growing, always seeking to improve my craft. I was proud to be a fully accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP) until it sadly went into administration — though there are whispers of its return, and I’d love to be part of that community again.

To me, being a professional photographer means combining passion with purpose, creativity with care, and a deep desire to give you an experience that’s not only professional, but personal.
